Our Community

With Gratitude

A big thank you to everyone in the community who agreed to let us tap their trees. Our banner year was 2013 when we had over 3,600 visitors to our sugar house during the 4 weeks of March. Without large large volumes of sap this would not be possible. Special thanks to each and every one of you!

Seeking Volunteers

We encourage the community to learn more about agriculture, and specifically Maple Sugaring by coming to our Sugar House. If you would like to get involved, please send us an email to info@turtlelanemaplefarm.com.

During mid-February we seek volunteers to assist with hanging lines in our various sites. You need to be at least 15 years old and willing to spend time walking in the woods to help with this activity.

Late in February we seek volunteers to assist with tapping trees. You need to be at least 15 years old to help with this activity.

During March, we seek volunteers to help with the tours for the North Andover 3rd grade children.  If you are interested in learning a bit and sharing this with school children, between a few emails and a short crash course you will quickly learn what you need to know to help out with the history / tree identification and tapping processes.

On weekends during March we seek volunteers to assist with handing out samples during tours and managing the crowds. You must be 13 years old to help with this activity.

If you are interested in getting more information on any of these opportunities, please email us at info@turtlelanemaplefarm.com.
